Travel Sketchbook
I have always been frustrated as I traveled because I so wanted to capture what I was seeing now. As a result, I am taking my traveling watercolor/pen and ink kit with me. I always allow myself a couple of hours to try to get down on paper what I am seeing and feeling. When I return home, a little piece of the world comes home with me, and I often use these images as studies for a larger studio piece or as notecards for gifts to friends and family.
